Privacy
We do not sell your information. We never have and we will not. There is no advertising in this business, no affiliate network, and no second revenue stream that would make your details worth trading.
SparrowKit is free and open source. There is nothing to buy, so there is no customer record, no account, no password and no profile. What follows is the rest of the answer: what this website touches, what the software sends, and which other companies are involved. Effective 25 August 2026.
What we hold
Nothing about you.
That is not a figure of speech or a promise about how carefully we handle a database. There is no database. This site is static pages on GitHub Pages with no forms, no sign-up, no newsletter and no server of ours anywhere in the path.
What the software itself sends
Nothing.
There is no licence key, no activation, no expiry and no call home. Everything the control panel saves goes into your own application’s Rails encrypted credentials, which live in your repository and are never transmitted anywhere. The control panel makes no outbound request of any kind, and it runs only on your own machine, only in development.
If this site disappeared tomorrow, your copy would carry on running.
This website
These pages are served by GitHub Pages. There are no analytics, no cookies, no tracking pixels, and no third-party scripts.
There is one third-party request and it should be named rather than buried: the pages load the Inter typeface from Google Fonts, which means Google sees the address of the browser asking for it. GitHub keeps ordinary server logs for the pages themselves, as any web host does.
That request is the reason this page exists at all. Everything else here is a statement that nothing happens.
Who else touches it
| Company | What they handle |
|---|---|
| GitHub | Hosting these pages |
| Google Fonts | Serving the typeface these pages use |
That is the entire list. Nobody is added to it quietly. If it changes, this page changes with it.
What we will not do
We will not sell, rent, or trade what we hold, to anyone, at any price. There is nothing to sell, and that is the strongest version of the promise available.
We will not put you on a marketing list, because there is no list and no way to join one.
We will not enrich what we hold with data bought from anyone else, and we will not use it to profile you or to target advertising, ours or anybody’s.
Asking what we hold
We hold nothing about you, so there is nothing to send you and nothing to delete. If you believe otherwise, write to humans@sparrowsoft.co and we will look properly rather than quote this page back at you.
Reading the source is a fair way to check the second claim above. The control
panel is in gems/sparrow_ui and you are welcome to grep it for a network call.
Children
SparrowKit is a developer tool. It is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect anything from them — or, on the evidence above, from anybody.
Changes to this page
